2021 marks 100 years in the pawn industry for Lou's Jewelry & Pawn. While we are proud of this achievement, we are humbled and recognize we could not have done it without the tireless support and patronage of our community. It has been a pleasure to serve Upper Darby and the Philadelphia region all these years and we look forward to doing it for many more.
Louis Myerson opened the Chester, PA location of his pawn shop in 1921, which remained there until 2007. Meanwhile, in 1984, Lou's son Stanton opened up the current Lou's location in Upper Darby. Stan continues to run the operations of the shop while also giving back to the community in many ways.
While we head into our next century of service, we wanted to show our appreciation for our community and our customers. As one of the nation's oldest family run pawn shops, we look forward to continuing to be YOUR pawn shop for the next 100 years and beyond.
